Man Killed in Boca Raton Parking Lot Incident ID’d In GoFundMe Effort

A man who died after being struck by a car in a Boca Raton parking lot during some type of dispute has been identified by way of a GoFundMe fundraiser set up by a local organizer.

The 38-year-old victim is Jairo Correa, whose hometown was not listed. The GoFundMe page, which has raised $1,220, was set up by Izabella Correa. According to Boca Raton police, the incident that led to Correa’s death occurred in the parking lot of 6500 Park of Commerce Boulevard on Monday, July 27, 2026. At some point between 8:20 a.m. and 9:10 a.m., there was a domestic disturbance in the parking lot between a male and a female, involving a silver Mercedes SUV. During the incident, the victim was struck by the vehicle, “causing fatal injuries.”

“To know Jairo was to love him,” the GoFundMe page states. “He was the kind of person who would put everyone else’s needs before his own, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. He had the biggest heart, a kind soul, and a way of making everyone around him feel loved, valued, and protected.”

Correa was described as “an incredible father, a devoted boyfriend, a cherished son, a loyal friend, and someone his family could always count on”

The building where the incident occurred is located off Clint Moore Road, between I-95 and Congress Avenue. It is mainly used for warehouse and light industrial purposes.
