A 32-year-old woman is facing a felony criminal mischief charge after allegedly causing about $8,000 in damage to a Boca Raton yoga studio on her first day of work there.

Orysia Wulczyn, of Pompano Beach, was charged in the Jan, 30, 2026 incident during which she is accused of “yelling and throwing objects” around the Little Champs yoga studio on W. Palmetto Park Road. When Boca Raton police arrived at 6:48 p.m., officers initially saw a shattered glass door, and heard a person throwing objects inside. An officer attempted to talk to the person, later identified as Wulczyn, but was allegedly unable to get her to stop throwing objects and open the door.

Due to the potential danger of the call, an additional officer equipped with a shield was called to the scene as the initial responding officers took “tactical cover.” Eventually, however, Wulczyn opened the door, at which officers rushed in and detained the suspect.

An employee of the yoga business told police it was Wulczyn’s first day working there, and at one point she suddenly began yelling and throwing object and equipment. The staff of the business told police there was about $8,000 in damage, including broken windows, a damaged door, as well as furniture and miscellaneous items that had been destroyed, including children’s toys.

After being medically cleared, Wulczyn was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail where she was eventually released without bail under conditions determined by the court.
