A Pompano Beach man was arrested by Boca Raton police after being pulled over for a suspended license, with a records check later revealing he had previous convictions for four instances of driving with a suspended license and two DUIs.
Brian Lemuel Beach, 59, was taken into custody after being pulled over on N. Dixie Highway just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, an officer on patrol ran the license plate number of the man’s 2005 Lexus, which showed the owner’s driver’s license had been suspended since 2023.
While Beach, the report said, told the officer he did not know his license was suspended, a records check showed that his driving privileges had been suspended going back to May 15, 2023. A deeper check of motor vehicle records showed Beach had been previously convicted four times of driving with a suspended license and twice for DUI, the report said.
Beach was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail after his vehicle was impounded. He was later released on $5,000 bond.
