A Boca Raton man has died following a crash on Yamato Road Thursday morning. It occurred at the intersection of Congress Avenue and W Yamato Road at 8:30 a.m., according to a statement from police.
The crash, according to the statement, involved a Ford F-150 that was traveling west in the left center lane of West Yamato Road and a Porsche 914 that was traveling eastbound on West Yamato. The vehicles collided as the Porsche attempted to make a left turn.
The driver of the Porsche, 69-year-old Richard Lewis, of Boca Raton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Ford, 33-year-old Carlos Duenas, of Tamarac, sustained minor injuries.
