Boca Raton Police ID Man in Fatal Crash, Seek Help From Witnesses

Boca Raton police are investigating a crash between two vehicles that occurred at on Airport Road on Tuesday afternoon, leaving one city man dead and another two people injured.

The fatal accident occurred at 1400 Airport Road on Nov. 12, 2024, just before 2:30 p.m., said Officer Jessica Desir.

According to police, a 2018 Jeep Wrangler was traveling south on Airport Road when a 2014 Toyota Camry drove north in the southbound lanes, traveling in the wrong direction, and collided with the Jeep. The passenger of the Toyota did not survive, and the driver sustained life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries.

The deceased passenger was identified as Rachelle Ebner, 81, of Boca Raton. Her husband, the driver, Jerrold Ebner, 80, was seriously injured. The driver of the Jeep, Donald Kline, 55, of Delray Beach, suffered more minor injuries.
