A Boca Raton man who has already been convicted seven times of driving with a suspended license is now facing his eighth charge following an Oct. 4 arrest by city police.
Lunzer Luzincourt, 34, was pulled over while driving a black Dodge Challenger near the Quality Inn motel on Federal Highway after failing to stop at a stop sign near NE 5th Avenue, according to a police report. He “spontaneously” told the officer conducting the stop that his license was not valid, the report said, and a subsequent check of the state driver database showed seven previous convictions for driving with a suspended license.
A search of the vehicle following Luzincourt’s arrest on the traffic offense yielded 4.5 grams of marijuana in the vehicle’s glove box and a grinder in the back seat, according to the report.
Luzincourt was charged with driving with a suspended license (with three or more previous convictions), having no driver’s license, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail and later released after posting a $12,250 bond.
