A Boca Raton man has been charged with a combination of drug and weapons offenses following a patrol by law enforcement officers at a shopping center known for drug activity, according to a police report.

Justin Tarallo, 39, of Boca Raton, was charged with four offenses after Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies conducted a foot patrol at the shopping center at 9910 Sandalfoot Boulevard, which was described in a police report as a “well documented … area where drug sales are frequently conducted.” While passing by the property Feb. 8, 2026 at about 3:40 a.m., the deputy noticed a GMC pickup truck in the parking lot with its engine running, with the driver facing his head downward and toward his lap “as if he were manipulating something,” the report stated. Two passengers were also in the vehicle.

In his report, the deputy stated  the driver, later identified as Tarallo, allegedly had a blue scale on his lap, along with a clear plastic baggie with a white rock and a white powdery substance inside. The report said the driver attempted to conceal the materials in his lap.

A search of the vehicle allegedly turned up 17.5 grams of cocaine, a Glock handgun with a chambered round that was located in the door console, a bag of cash that contained $861, two pills and a cannabis grinder. Two additional baggies with white, powdery substances inside were also located, according to the report.

Tarallo was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug equipment, possessing a vehicle to traffic narcotics, and possession of a firearm in the process of a felony. The two passengers did not face charges. Tarallo was ultimately freed on a combined $11,000 bond.
