A Boca Raton man has been charged with indecent exposure after allegedly laying nude at a beach entrance while in the midst of pleasuring himself “in plain view of everyone,” a report filed by Delray Beach police stated.
Stewart Schiff, 61, was arrested Dec. 2, 2025 just before 10 a.m. on the beach just south of Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, the report stated. According to a court filing, police received a call reporting a man committing the lewd act while naked and partially blocking a beach entrance. The responding officer stated in the filing that upon arrival, the person who called in the report directed him to the beach where he personally witnessed the act, which was described in detail in the report in explicit detail.
“It appeared Schiff heard me approaching as my radio went off,” the officer wrote. “Schiff immediately tried to cover up what he was doing, showing he knew his act was vulgar and indecent.”
The caller positively identified Schiff as the man she saw, the report said, at which point he was taken into custody. According to the court filing, Schiff “had a history of lewd and lascivious crimes” and admitted two prior offenses to the officer. He then allegedly said he had been warned that a third offense could constitute a felony, and that he “knew the consequences and did it anyway.”
Schiff remained lodged in the Palm Beach County Jail Thursday in lieu of $10,000 bond. The court filing stated the incident was captured on a police body-worn camera.
