Police in Delray Beach are seeking information that could lead them to a suspect in the slaying of a homeless man.
According to a statement from the department, officers were called to the 1200 block of SW 22nd Avenue, west of Congress Avenue between Lowson and Linton boulevards, responding to a report of gunshots. Officers arrived at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to find a man identified as James Appollonio, 54, of Daytona Beach dead from a gunshot wound.
Appollonio had been homeless, police said. His body was found outside of a residential home.
